I’m Just A Messenger Carrying Out His Will.

This was a retro style movie if there ever was one and it has all the pluses and minuses that come with that.

I personally like slower older style horror movies as opposed to the modern Blockbuster PG-13 style Blumhouse-stuff but I curiously found myself wanting a little bit more action in this.

If there is one thing this movie does well it’s building up an atmosphere of dread because I found myself on the edge of my seat during it.

But without spoilers the ending was a little disappointing to me as opposed to something like Hereditary which I thought did basically the same thing a lot better.

The acting also was very retro which has it’s own set of pluses and minuses.

The whole movie had a nightmare-like feel that reminded me of European horror with it’s sense of unreality.

Overall I enjoyed it and will give it a 67/100.

Until then I’m Nathan Edward Priem and THAT…was something else!
