My opinion on politics doesn’t matter because I’m just one person with no special insight into complex issues.
But if you must know I am a Non-Denominational Christian Libertarian and live my life by the teachings of Jesus Christ such as the golden rule and follow the non-aggression principle.
My views both political and religious are eclectic and unorthodox and I’m sure they would piss both sides of the political spectrum off in some way.
That is the only statement I will make on the matter.
The only thing I will speak out for is creative freedom and the anti-censorship movement.
This is an intimate topic for me and one I am very knowledgeable and passionate about.
My opinion is that if it doesn’t break the law, it should be allowed to be released and let the free market decide.
Now less you call me a NEO-NAZI CHUD GRIFTER I will point out this goes both ways.
If TRANS™ dating sims or some WOKE™ game was being censored, I would be on their side. (Having anyone buy them is a different story…)
As you may have noticed I don’t put much stock in political correctness or the WOKE™ movement.
That’s because it’s the greatest threat to creative freedom today.
The 1980’s are long gone and the fundamentalist MORAL MAJORITY™ is long dead and buried.
It’s not the fundamentalist right under the guise of morality pushing censorship currently it’s the fundamentalist left which is…pushing it under the guise of morality. (Horseshoe theory!)
This isn’t a left-right issue for me it’s one of fundamental human liberty.
If somehow the MORAL MAJORITY™ were to return, I would speak out against it.
Now saying that we cannot allow a WOKE™ cartel to have control over what opinions are “acceptable”.
Whether they be modern day Pharisees in the church or useful idiot tankies we should reject moral scolds who want to control the conversation to their own ends.
Christ didn’t go around burning books or using his divine authority to destroy his human adversaries he countered incorrect information using FACTS™ and LOGIC™ to defeat his opponents with the truth.
Though we are not God we should follow his example and engage in righteous debate instead of preventing our opponents from speaking.
I believe in the free marketplace of ideas and that our God-given gift of logic will separate the wheat from the chaff.
Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the light and the truth will set us free.
Until then I am Nathan Edward Priem and that…was something else.
